In Los Angeles—the city where stories are born under neon lights and legendary music—an unforgettable production came to life, bringing together Dos Equis and the iconic band Fuerza Regida. The mission was bold: to create a visual campaign of photography and video that would capture the energy, authenticity, and cultural impact of this historic collaboration.
Directed and photographed by Mauricio Candela, the production became a seamless dance between stills and motion. In just one day, the team delivered powerful portraits and dynamic scenes, balancing the raw attitude of the band with the irreverent spirit of the brand. There was no time to pause—the rhythm of the day flowed with relentless energy, every frame infused with intensity.

A key creative decision defined the shoot: using continuous lighting for both photography and video. This approach allowed the crew to move with agility, eliminating the need to constantly reset lights, while achieving a cinematic, cohesive atmosphere that perfectly matched the lifestyle essence of the campaign.
The location was equally symbolic—a legendary recording studio in Los Angeles, a place steeped in history and creativity. Within its walls, surrounded by instruments, soundboards, and the presence of five musicians shaping today’s culture, the team captured the soul of authenticity.
For Candela—widely recognized for his expertise in celebrity photography and beverage photography—this project was an opportunity to merge two passions: portraying cultural icons while elevating the visual storytelling of drinks and lifestyle. The result was more than a campaign; it became a visual manifesto that celebrates music, culture, and identity.
